I apologize for the lack of outfit posts, but I just can't muster up the courage to battle the rainy, cold weather we keep having here in east Tennessee. I am crossing my fingers for good weather tomorrow, simply for the sake of showing off some really pretty goodies I got from Lulu's! But for now, here is a picture of my legs in my favorite over-the-knee socks, and my fingers, covered in the loveliest handmade, little rings by Gramercy Eight, that so happen to be holding my favorite cup of hot tea. While I sit here in all of my favorite things, I'm dreaming about all the Christmas spirit tomorrow shall bring. My family and I are finally picking out our Christmas tree and decorating the house for all the holiday festivities and I cannot wait! But for now, I bring you an embarrassing story that happened to me the other day.
Boyfriend and I were at Rembrandt's, a local coffee shop that so happens to be the cutest one in all the land. Right before we paid for our hot teas, we decided to look at the trivia question, in hopes that we could combine our knowledge and find the correct answer so we could get a free tea. Unfortunately, I don't remember what the riddle said, but I do remember it saying something on the topic of poetry. Okay, this is the part where I embarrass myself...I proceed into a long elaborate story about how I took a pottery class in college and how I definitely should know this answer. I mean I was practically bragging to everyone and this place was crowded. Finally, boyfriend looks over and says, "Tarah, it says poetry, not pottery." Someone should've just given me a shovel at that moment so I could dig a hole and sit in it. After all, why do all of my most embarrassing moments have to happen around my boyfriend? Im surprised he's still with me because there have been some truly questionable moments, my friends.
