Summer 2015 According to my iPhone

by Tarah Garner

I can't believe summer has already come and gone. Every year I look forward to all the joy the summer season brings me and it never lasts long enough. As of recently, it feels like everyone is all about sweaters and pumpkin spice, and I'm over here holding on to my crop tops and popsicles for dear life, still in complete denial summer is over. I basically live for this season. Who else is with me??

Hey! Hello! How was your summer?....That's good to hear.

I've been gone for awhile and it feels good to be back on these pages. Since February I knew I wouldn't be posting as much. I honestly got very busy with 2 jobs and considering this is a "what I wore today" blog my outfits consists of athletic clothing at one and pajamas at the other, really doesn't make for exciting posts. BUT. Fall is here and I always put more effort into my clothing. If you've been following the fall trends you'll know I am super excited about crop tops being incorporated into the layering pieces for this season. My summer vibezzz won't be stopped! Those crop tops will not be put in the back of my drawers, friends! This is going to be a good rest of the year.

8 Ways to Wear a Blanket Scarf

by Tarah Garner

Now that the days are starting to get colder, my go-to item in the closet are my scarves. They are great for dressing any outfit, while keeping you cozy during the colder months. If you've been keeping up with my blog you'll know that I have been raving about Joah Brown having the cutest and comfiest clothes. Well, this post is no different because this scarf I have on is the softest and warmest scarf I own right now. When I recently got it in the mail, I was overwhelmed by its shape and size, because I wasn't sure how to wear it. After days of trying new styles and playing around with it in my mirror, I came up with 8 different ways to wear my blanket scarf. I tried incorporating styles that are practical and chic-looking, yet maintaining a laid back look.

A Day in the Life

by Tarah Garner

If it were up to me, I would have days like yesterday happen every day. I met up with one of my girlfriends for brunch at The Camp House, one of Chattanooga's best places to relax, enjoy time with friends, and eat yummy food while listening to live music. We both had so much fun talking to each other and reminiscing over our competitive tennis days, and before we knew it, 2 and a half hours passed by way too quickly.

^^^ It was as good as it looks! I had the yogurt and blueberry muffin and she had the salad, with her choice of two different dressings.^^^

After we caught up over hot tea, we said our goodbyes till the next time we get together. I was so close to where boyfriend lives, I figured I would surprise him with a quick hello. Little did I know, it would turn out to be an unexpected all day hangout. He helped me take outfit pictures, then taught me how to edit them {see below}, while we talked the entire time about every subject that popped into our heads. Hours later the hunger pains kicked back in and we decided to drive to my parents house to have a homemade dinner.

If you've been following me for some time, you would know that I am a hippie at heart. That being said, bell bottoms are a staple in my wardrobe and if you've fallen in love with these black velvet bells {like I have}, you can find them from my friends at The Minted Exchange! The size small has already sold out but there is still time to snag a pair in the medium or large.

P.S- These pictures that boyfriend took are so beautiful, even on a cloudy day. I have to share a few more because I am so happy about they turned out. *See more of his talents here*
